Henrik Karch was born in Waiblingen in 1971. He studied law at Konstanz University and at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. He was admitted to the bar in 2000 and worked first with Lankau & Collegen in Frankfurt/Main. In 2005 he became a specialist in administrative law (Fachanwalt für Verwaltungsrecht).

He joined BSKP in 2005.
