Christian Franz was born in Zittau in 1974. He studied law at Dresden University of Technology and was admitted to the bar in 1999. He became a specialist in tax law (Fachanwalt für Steuerrecht) in 2005 and specialist in commercial and corporate law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht) in 2008.

He joined BSKP in 1999.
