Sven Peitzsch was born in Sangerhausen in 1965. He studied law at Jena University and was admitted to the bar in 1996. He has been a specialist in family law (Fachanwalt für Familienrecht) since 2004 and has successfully completed a course to specialize in law of succession. His career began at the law firm Pohl, Fricke, Dr. Rittger und Kollegen law firm.

He joined BSKP in 2004.
