Mark Lehmann was born in Heilbronn in 1975. He studied at the Academy of Vocational Education (Berufsakademie) in Stuttgart, specializing in taxes and auditing. He then worked as an assistant auditor and audit manager in the Financial Services division (Banking and Finance) of KPMG in Frankfurt/Main. From 2002 to 2005 Mark Lehmann worked as an assistant auditor and assistant tax adviser and later as a tax adviser with medium-sized tax consulting and auditing firms in and around Stuttgart and Heilbronn. In April 2004 Mark Lehman was appointed as tax adviser by the Stuttgart Tax Advisers’ Association (Steuerberaterkammer Stuttgart).

Mark Lehmann gives lectures at the general business administration division of the Duale Hochschule in Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart and at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (district of Ludwigsburg).

He joined BSKP in 2006.
