Gundula Hauptmann was born in Löbau in 1977. She studied business administration at Dresden University of Technology. From 2001 to 2005 she worked in a medium-sized auditing firm in Bavaria. She took her tax adviser’s examination in 2005/2006. Subsequently Gundula Hauptmann managed a tax consulting firm in Weinböhla.

She joined BSKP in 2008.
