Dierk Meinrenken was born in Bremen in 1976. He studied business administration, communication and law at Goettingen University. He completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin and was admitted to the bar in 2005. He became a specialist in traffic law (Fachanwalt für Verkehrsrecht) in 2009 and a specialist in insurance law (Fachanwalt für Versicherungsrecht) in 2011.

He joined BSKP in 2011.
